With Arsenal, Pirès won two Premier League titles, including the club’s unbeaten season of 2003-2004, and won two FA Cups.

He was also voted as the sixth greatest player in Arsenal’s history.

Pirès has 79 caps for his international scores and was given Player of the Tournament for FIFA 2001.

Merson made his debut with Arsenal, where he played most of the games in his career.

5. Dennis Bergkamp

Dennis Bergkamp, whose technique Thierry Henry described as a ‘dream for a striker, is a Dutch national who started his career as a wide midfielder and is one of the most famous number 10’s in the world.

Henry was also among the top most commercially marketed footballers during the 2000s, which helped boost Arsenal’s standing.
