Twitch Streaming is returning to Xbox in 2021

Back in 2014, for the very first time, Twitch appeared directly integrated into the Xbox One, and now Microsoft will bring back the Twitch streaming integration into the Xbox dashboard. The feature is now returning to the Xbox Guide interface, with a similar integration and webcam support.

The new integration is very simple to use and can be accessed right now by Alpha and Skip-Ahead alpha Xbox testers. The new integration includes adjusting game or microphone volume, including party audio from friends, as well as seeing a list of viewers and seeing how long have you been streaming on your top games. Furthermore, you can also switch resolution and bitrates from 360p at 500kbps up to 1080p at 65000kbps.

With this integration, Microsoft also supports USB webcams, and most plug-and-play ones should work as a camera option for Twitch streaming.

The integration will be welcomed back with open arms, as in June 2021, there were over 1.3 million active Twitch app users. On the other hand, there are 100million Xbox Live monthly active users.
