What makes it one of the top rookie cards– in addition to its price tag– is that it sold almost three times the previous record for a Guerro Jr. card.

The card was No.97 out of the 99-card run, which is the number McDavid wore with the Edmonton Oilers.

For comparison, other rookie card versions featuring McDavid sold at around $50,000.
