We offer our unbiased, free Champions League betting tips, which are updated every game week. This week there are some interesting games on which we will try to give our analyses and hopefully we are right.
These are our top 3 tips for this week, but keep in mind that the odds are always subject to change.
Tip 1 – Manchester City vs Atletico Madrid – City to win and over 2.5 goals
This will be a duel between two of the greatest managers in the world of football today. However, the way Pep’s team is playing now I think they have what it takes to win this game and this quarter-final leg. As we can expect Atletico will most likely park the bus and hope to surprise City on counter-attacks, as they do have the right players for it. This will be the first-ever match between these two teams so we cant tell you anything from the past meetings’ perspective, but we can tell you how are they playing now. City has a game against Liverpool at the weekend, which will probably decide this year’s Premier League champion, while Atletico will most likely finish in the top 4 in the La Liga and play Champions League football again next season. I predict that City will dominate the match and will look to finish the job in the first leg.
Tip 2 – Villareal vs Bayern Munich – Under 2.5 goals
After two La Liga losses against bottom teams Cadiz and Levante, it is most likely that Villareal won’t be involved in any European competition next season, which means they can solely focus on the Champions League. However, they face the mighty Bayern team which is one of the favourites to win this year’s competition. Bayern can almost taste the Bundesliga title and can fully focus on the Champions League. But, in this encounter, I expect that both teams will calculate a little and even if one team wins it will be a one-goal loss.
Tip 3 – Benfica vs Liverpool – Under 2.5 goals
Possibly one of the least attractive matches in this quarter-finals, as Liverpool is expected to not have too many problems with the struggling Portuguese side. As we’ve mentioned above Liverpool has a deciding game against City this weekend and will try to get the job done in the first leg. I don’t see how Benfica will score in this match, which is why I predict a 0-1 or 0-2 Liverpool win.
Tip 4 – Chelsea vs Real Madrid – Chelsea to win
Last year’s semi-finalists meet again, and just like last year, this time again there are no favourites as both teams have an equal chance of progressing to the next round. Chelsea comes into this match after a surprising loss at home against Brentford, while Real Madrid won away at Celta Vigo. I think that this match will be similar to the last time these two played at Stamford Bridge and I predict that Chelsea will win but will only have a slight advantage when they will play at the Bernabeu next week
These are my Champions League betting tips for the quarter-finals for this week. Hopefully, our analysis is correct, and it will help you make some money from some of the most popular betting sites.
