We offer our unbiased, free Champions League betting tips, which are updated every game week. This week there are some interesting games on which we will try to give our analyses and hopefully we are right.
These are our top 3 tips for this week, but keep in mind that the odds are always subject to change.
Tip 1 – Real Madrid vs Chelsea – BTTS and over 2.5 goals
Carlo Ancelloti’s team has a great advantage coming into this second leg, but I think that Chelsea still has a chance of advancing to the next round. Because of the away goal rule being scrapped off this year, all Chelsea has to do is win by two goals to make this game go to extra time and probably penalties. However, it does not sound easy at all, since Real Madrid is considered as the king of this competition and surely knows how to hold down a two goal advantage. Chelsea will be looking to score an early goal and make the game more exciting, but Real are very dangerous on counter attacks, which is just why I predict that this game will have a lot of goals.
Tip 2 – Bayern Munich vs Villareal – Villareal to qualify
This maybe one of the boldest predictions ever, but the way Bayern is playing lately this will not come as a surprise. Althouth Villareal is struggling in LA Liga, they’ve had an excellent Champions League tournament so far. They proved that in their last match away at Juventus when they recorded an impressive 0-3 win. Bayern is still one of the best teams in Europe and this bold prediction will surely be a tough one, but the odds for this tip are too good to pass.
Tip 3 – Liverpool vs Benfica – BTTS and over 2.5 goals
Liverpool are already with one leg in the semi final, and the only important thing for Klopp in this game will be not to end this game with some sort of injury to his players. Liverpool drew in the Premier League against City and Klopp will most likely try to rest some of his key players, as they face CIty again on Saturday and are still in the Premier League title race. On the other hand, Benfica have nothing to lose and they will attack from the first minute and probably concede a goal or two on Liverpool counter-attacks. Finally, even if Liverpool tries to rest some of their players, they have a deep squad, meaning that whoever plays will give his best to win in front of the home fans.
Tip 4 – Atletico Madrid vs Manchester City – Manchester City to win
From what we saw in the first leg between these two, City are complete favourites in this match as well. Atletico became the first team in Champions League history to not record a single shot in a whole match, which just proves how dominant City were in that match. Manchester City has a goal advantage and again will try to score and finish the game early on. Atletico on the other hand will probably play the same, with a deep defensive line and try to surprise City on counter attacks. However, i fully expect that City will win and qualify in this year Champions League semi-final, and judged by the football they are playing this year, they most certainly belong there.
