The Estadio Azteca is located in Mexico City, Mexico, and took five years to build. It was completed in 1966, costing MXN$260 million, and has a capacity of 87,523. The stadium regularly surpasses its capacity; its highest attendance was during a boxing match in 1993, with an audience of 136,274. Estadio Azteca is home to Mexico’s national football team and FC Club America.
